For 2017, as well as holding the 3 Day Great Noosa Trail Walk on 30th Sept & 1,2, Oct, we held a separate ‘Sunday Stroll’ on the 23rd July which took in a section of the GNTW and was a huge success.
There is a limit of 150 walkers for the 3 day GNTW and tickets are available now at $240 per walker: PURCHASE TICKETS HERE
For the ‘Sunday Stroll’ there was a limit of 20 walkers and tickets were $30 each including a Shuttle bus provided back to walk start point. Stay tuned for info on next year’s Sunday Stroll.

The fee for the GNTW 2017 is $240 but there is an earlybird period until 30th June where you can purchase tickets for $210. The fee, plus a 30c booking fee per ticket is payable in full at the time of booking.
The fee for the Sunday Stroll in July 2017 is $30. There is no earlybird period for this walk. The fee, plus a 30c booking fee per ticket is payable in full at the time of booking.
There are no discounts for seniors, youth or groups – it is a flat fee.
The price includes:
- Registration kit and Detailed Walkers Program
- Public liability insurance
- Shuttle Buses to transport walkers and their equipment
- Camping fees each night
- Breakfast on Day 2 and Day 3(eggs, bacon, toast, muesli and yoghurt, tea, coffee)
- Prepacked Lunch on Day 2 (salad rolls, fruit, chocolate bars)
The price does not include:
- Breakfast on Day 1
- Lunch on Day 1 or Day 3
- Any Dinners
Walkers can either self-cater or purchase their meals in the towns of Kin Kin and Cooran where various options are available.
Shuttle bus will only offer transfers to the start of each day’s start walk point. Transfers to and from private and guest houses need to be arranged with the guest house – we are unable to offer this service.
Supplied catering has limited capacity to cater for walker with specific dietary requirements and they are advised to bring additional items to supplement items they can eat from supplied food items.
There is an optional $60 levy/donation which you can pay at the time of booking which will be used towards our work in upgrading the tracks and infrastructure alongside Noosa Council.
Children under 12 are not able to undertake the walk.

If you are traveling as a group, please nominate your group name, but each walker or their delegate must undertake individual registration to ensure registration details are captured.

Cancellation / Refunds
50% of the Great Noosa Trail Walk bookings fee will be refunded if registration is cancelled up to 1 month prior to the event start date.
0% of the booking fee will be refunded if registration is cancelled less than 1 month prior to the event start date.
Wet / Weather
The walk is scheduled for a dry time of the year but showers and storms could always be expected. The walk will continue in wet weather so bring a rain coat! You can always catch the shuttle bus and cosy up in a local cafe! Of course if rain is substantial and flooding is imminent the event will be cancelled and rescheduled.
Waiver / Release
In this Waiver & Release the organiser means and includes all individuals, affiliated entities, servants or agents who are involved in the organisation of the event and all volunteers involved with the organiser in preparing and running this event.
Participants in this event acknowledge that they participate at their own risk. They accept all risks and release the organiser from all claims, demands and proceedings arising out of or connected with participation in the event and indemnify them forever against all liability for any injury, loss or damage arising out of or connected with their participation in the event.
